Coalville Town have confirmed that former EFL striker Billy Kee will be staying on for next season.

The Ravens' website reports that the former Burton Albion and Accrington Stanley forward will carry on with Coalville.

Kee, 31, scored 17 league goals last season - and he struck up an impressive partnership with strike partner Tim Berridge - between them, they scored 39 league goals.

Coalville pulled off a major surprise two years ago when they signed Kee - who began his career at Leicester City.

It means Ravens boss Adam Stevens has retained the core of his squad along with two excellent new additions at the weekend.

Coalville signed midfielder Andi Tamoj after he left Boston United - with goalkeeper Paul White also joining after being at Peterborough Sports last season.

The early signs are that the Ravens want to make up for the disappointment of missing out on promotion from the Southern League Premier Central in May.
