Coronavirus: Delays To Waste Collections in Coalville and Ashby Due to Staffing Issues

North West Leicestershire District Council says there were delayed waste collections in the Ashby and Coalville areas on Thursday - and there could be more on Friday.

The Council has updated their earlier message and says that 'staffing issues' have been a problem.

There were delayed garden and cardboard collections in Ravenstone, Ibstock, Heather, Snibston, Ashby, Woodville, Coleorton, Lount and Blackfordby on Thursday,

The Council was unable to collect garden waste and cardboard from a number of homes in Ravenstone, Ibstock, Heather and Snibston on due to staffing issues.

It advises the public to check to see if your street was missed on its Recycling News page Recycling News

And the Council will be unable to collect garden waste and cardboard from a number of homes in Ashby, Woodville, Coleorton, Lount and Blackfordby on Friday.

Again, check to see if your street is included on the Recycling News page

Collections have been rescheduled for Monday.

The Council is asking you to put your garden waste and cardboard out the night before or by 6am on Monday and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
