Senior Economic Development Officer
North West Leicestershire District Council works across communities throughout the district to help people and businesses thrive. We're looking for a Senior Economic Development Officer to join our Economic Regeneration Team.
About the job; you will play a senior role in helping implement the North West Leicestershire Economic Growth Plan, by leading the formulation and delivery of specific initiatives and projects, this includes
playing a specialist role in one or more of the following activities of the council's Economic Regeneration Service: Enterprise, Business, Skills and Intelligence, Town Centre Investment, Marketing and Promotion, Visitor Economy Development and Regeneration and Economic Infrastructure Projects.
Our ideal candidate is someone with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, communities, partner organisations and colleagues and who has demonstrable experience of successfully working on infrastructure projects, town centre development, heritage, arts, events or visitor economy initiatives.
• 36.25 hrs per week with a starting annual salary of £37,280 (pay award pending)
