Rough Sleeper Outreach Worker
The purpose of the role is to deliver an effective outreach service to those rough sleeping across Leicestershire and Rutland. The post will aim to reduce rough sleeping numbers across the county by providing a proactive outreach approach to finding and supporting those individuals rough sleeping.
The role will focus on sourcing accommodation, breaking barriers to engagement, improving health and well-being. The role will be working both as part of the Rough Sleeper Outreach Team and collaboratively with other agencies both statutory and voluntary to ensure best outcomes for rough sleepers. If you believe you have the experience, skills and abilities to deliver this role, you understand the needs of complex rough sleepers, are an excellent communicator at a variety of levels and can be flexible and creative this could be the role for you.
• 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £28,598 (band D £28,598 to £32,061)
