Contract

Oversee day-to-day financial management for Children and Family Services, including budget preparation, income/expenditure monitoring, and financial reporting.Use LCC financial systems, Excel, and other software to input, extract, and analyse financial data.Support budget monitoring, strategic planning, estimate preparation, and year-end account closures.Process and certify invoices, salary claims, procurement orders, and delivery notes in line with financial procedures.Manage imprest accounts and P-cards, including reconciliation and payment authorisation.Ensure systems are in place to support audit compliance and effective data collection.Ensure consistent staffing levels and effective prioritisation of support tasks.Monitor and report on the use of LCC grants in line with funding guidelines.Produce financial reports and provide advice on policies, procedures, and service strategy.Act as the lead contact for FEEE (Free Early Education Entitlement) guidance and support for internal teams and external early years providers.Support data accuracy through ongoing data cleaning and management of case management systems.Maintain and update templates and processes in collaboration with senior officers to meet service needs.
