The Heather Music festival over Saturday and Sunday is one of the highlights of the weekend in and around Coalville.
After the success of the Heather Scarecrow Festival last week, the two-day free festival also returns following the enforced break due to the Pandemic.
A host of Leicestershire based bands have been lined up for the event, which is free to the public.
Tony Marsden, part of the organising team, says they are expecting large crowds with ideal weather forecast.
He said: "The event was slightly bigger before Covid year, it was Heather in the Park which included the World Barebeque Championships which we were also hosting.
"But historically, the music festival has been something the village has taken on board for more than 20 years.
"We're calling this a bit of bounceback event and Heather St John's Football Club wanted to work with us on this.
"They do so much for the village and it will be a free event. The venue has been good for the community.
"We've had a good record of bringing decent acts in from around Leicestershire.
"And a lot of them are looking to getting back to playing live again after the last two years.
"Some of the bands are different now, their circumstances have changed.
"We will also be raising money for LOROS over the two days."
