The Marlene Reid Centre in Coalville has Tai Chi for Arthritis sessions on Monday.

Tai chi is slow and gentle, yet it increases strength, balance and co-ordination. Tai chi promotes gracefulness & poise. Tai chi is also "meditation in movement" and promotes mental and general wellbeing.

These classes are based on Tai Chi for Arthritis, a type of tai chi created by Dr Paul Lam, a Chinese-Australian family doctor and the founder of The Tai Chi for Health Institute.

There will also be "qi gong", sometimes known as Chinese yoga, which is done standing up.

On Sunday, there is the chance to join in the Feelgood Day at Sence Valley.

Come along to the open day and try some free health and wellbeing taster sessions, nature crafts (for all ages!), meet some of the practical conservation volunteers and chat to friendly rangers and partners.

You will find things to do in the top and bottom car parks, and in the community orchard (follow the arrows!)

Usual parking charges apply but just turn up on the day and speak to the friendly volunteers about what's on where.
