This weekend's Coalville events cover a wide range of entertainment and activities - and hopefully, there is something for everyone.

Don't forget, you can advertise your event for free at Coalville Nub News - and reach thousands of our readers by doing so.

Whether it is a gig, a comedy night, a pub quiz or maybe your monthly society meeting, just fill in the form HERE and we will list it for you in our What's On section.

Dog of Two Head, a leading Status Quo tribute band, make their way to Coalville for a set featuring hits from the group from the 1970s to 1981.

A fantastic authentic replication of one of Britain's best-loved bands during their halcyon days.

Hard rockin' boogie executed loud and just as it should be. If you like your old school Quo, get out and catch these boys live, you won't regret it!

Snibston Colliery Tours return this weekend - giving visitors a chance to experience a coal miner's life.

Visitors will have a chance to meet, not only a NCB miner in his mining overalls and equipment, but also the colliery Nurse, Sister Jenny, who brings the colliery medical centre to life with the stories of miners' accidents and medical conditions.

On two weekends each month, until December, former miners from the area take the public around the colliery surface buildings and tell the visitors what it was like to work in the pits during the 1970s and 80s.

Each tour day will allow the visitor to book onto either a 11.00 tour or a 13.30 tour.
