A Coalville opticians team put their best foot forward to raise money for Alzheimer's Society - totalling more than £1,000.
Seven colleagues from Specsavers in the Belvoir Shopping Centre completed a 100km sponsored walking challenge in aid of the charity, reaching an impressive £1,135 in total.
The team monitored their steps throughout the month, taking long walks and encouraging each other along the way. Donations from customers were also accepted in-store.
"We were keen to challenge ourselves in a bid to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society,' said Shailan Ruparelia, store director at Specsavers Coalville.
"Not only did we feel the positive benefits from walking additional steps, but we really felt the community's support in our efforts to raise as much money as possible.
"We know times continue to be tough at the moment, so we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated."
The Alzheimer's Society funds dementia research and provides support for people affected by dementia via a telephone support line, as well as through dementia support workers, printed information and an online community.
