What's On In Coalville this weekend? Films, music and football

A Film Night, Karaoke session, live music and a football club's promotion bid are all on the to-do list in Coalville this weekend.

The Century Theatre is the place to be with two events lined up.

Tomorrow (Friday), the venue has a Film Night, featuring Off The Rails.

The film tells of three friends in their 50s embarking on a European train adventure to celebrate the life of their recently deceased friend. The friend left them train tickets, on the condition her teenage daughter joined them.

There is also a support film which Coalville residents interested in the history of the town may want to see - Coalville Parade 1932 (10 minutes) is also part of the night.

On Saturday, the Century Theatre also hosts a Karaoke Night.

Coalville Town continue their promotion bid on Saturday afternoon at the Mander Cruickshank Stadium.

The Ravens take on Hertfordshire side Royston Town.

There is live music at the Black Horse in Whitwick tomorrow (Friday).

Jo Jooles & Special Guest will be playing at the Church Lane venue.
