Drivers are being warned of 45 minute delays on the M1 southbound after a lorry overturned near to the Coalville junction.

Highways England says there are four mile tailbacks to Junction 23 and that average speeds on the approach to the Coalville junction are 5mph.

The Junction22 entry slip road is closed along with lanes one and two) due to a 'multi vehicle collision' with has left one lorry is on its side.

Motorists are urged to seek an alternative route if this incident affects their travel plans.
