Photos of a group of motorcyclists have been released by police as part of a four-month investigation into a hit-and-run incident in Ravenstone involving four men.

Detectives are continuing to investigate a the collision and now want to identify the men in these photos.

At around 1.50pm on March 20, a report was received that a man had been struck by a motorcycle in Church Lane, close to the junction with the church.

Leicestershire Police say the man, who is in his 60s, had taken his son to meet a friend in a park in Charles Street but upon leaving, their vehicle was followed by four men on motorcycles.

When something was thrown at their car, they got out and one of the riders collided with the victim, knocking him to the ground.

As a result of initial enquiries, a 22-year-old man from Coalville was previously arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and criminal damage and later released under investigation.

Detective Constable Chrissie Hitchin, the investigating officer, said: "While we've arrested a man in connection with this incident, our investigation is very much continuing and we would still like to identify the riders of the four motorcycles pictured.

"Please look closely at them. Have you seen them in the Ravenstone and Coalville area?

"Do you know who they belong to? Any information you have could help."
