It is local election day in the Coalville and Ibstock area tomorrow (Thursday) as voters return to the polls following more than a year in lockdown.

If you are not sure where your nearest polling station is, then North West Leicestershire District Council has published an Electoral Commission webpage allowing you to type in your postcode and find out where you can vote.

You can access the site HERE.

There will be an election of a councillor to Leicestershire County Council and for the Police and Crime Commissioner for the Leicestershire Police area.

Coalville Nub News plans to keep you updated as the results come in.
