A number of changes to bus routes in the Coalville area came into operation this week.

The alterations affect services to Leicester, Ellistown, Loughborough, Ashby and Swadlincote.

The changes happened last Sunday (April 17).

They are as follows:

Service 16, Coalville to Loughborough

The first bus towards Coalville on Saturdays will now be the 0757 from Shepshed.

Service 26/26A - Leicester to Coalville

There are updates to the time of 26A journeys, with additional lunchtime trips calling at VF Warehouse. For more journeys to VF see service 29/29A.

Journeys numbered 26 will no longer call at Beveridge Lane in Ellistown, running straight along the main road into Coalville.

Together, services 26/26A, 27, and 29/29A will give a bus every 15 minutes along Groby Road between Glenfield and the City Centre.

Service 29/29A - Leicester to Swadlincote

There are minor changes to the times of evening departures from Leicester to help us keep your bus on time.

New early morning and late night X29 journeys will operate between Leicester, Amazon BHX2, and VF Warehouse.

On Sundays, some journeys will run as 29B and call at Bradgate Park between Leicester and Coalville.

Together, services 26/26A, 27, and 29/29A will give a bus every 15 minutes along Groby Road between Glenfield and the City Centre.
