One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Human Resources Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.

Overview:

  • Able to operate and quickly gain familiarity with computer packages, particularly the Microsoft Office suite, reporting systems and our learning management system with a view to supporting other employees in their use
  • Ability to generate and interpret reports
  • Ideally has work experience in an HR and/or learning and development environment

Responsibilites/Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Good understanding of equality and diversity considerations and HR employment considerations
  • Discretion and confidentiality at all times
