Waste Transfer Station Operative – temporary for two years
North West Leicestershire District Council is a busy council, working across our communities to help people and businesses thrive. We're looking for a Waste Transfer Station Operative to join our busy Waste Transfer Team, working in the yard at Linden Way Depot, Coalville.
You will be responsible for delivering all depot related operations at the waste transfer station, including loading and unloading material, material sorting and baling and processing, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
This role demands a hardworking individual who can adhere to strict safety standards and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
This role is physically demanding and will require you to work in all weather conditions. Additionally, a full, valid UK driving licence is required.
• 37 hrs per week with an annual salary of £26,113 - £27,833
• 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
