Finance Business Partner, Housing Revenue Account (HRA)

An opportunity to join the Council's Financial Planning Team in a key role as Housing Revenue Account (HRA) Finance Business Partner.

You will support the Council's Housing Service manage the HRA with the annual budget setting and monitoring processes, along with providing ad-hoc financial advice, undertaking project work and year end closure activities. You will also help by contributing to the overall HRA financial strategy, playing an integral role in contributing to continuous improvement and increased efficiency in the delivery of the Housing Service. You must have previous experience of working in a financial planning environment, ideally with some knowledge of Housing Revenue Accounts. You will also need demonstrable experience of effective budget preparation and monitoring, understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements, general accounting principles and effective report writing.

· 36.25 hrs per week with annual salary starting at £37,280 (2026 pay award pending)
