Waste Operations Relief HGV Driver (with occasional loading duties)
Join North West Leicestershire District Council's busy Waste Services Team. The successful candidate's main responsibilities will be to help improve the service delivery of waste collections across the district by effectively leading a crew of waste collectors to perform to the best of their abilities and to the highest standards of safety and customer service.
You must be able to operate to high health and safety standards and be able to deliver excellent customer service to residents and be willing to go the extra mile for your managers and customers. You must hold a current and valid HGV licence, including fully up to date Drivers CPC.
• 37 hrs per week with an annual salary of £28,284 - £31,709 (pay award pending)
• Four day working week – between Tuesday and Friday (9¼ hours per day)
• 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
