The talk this month is – A Toastmaster's Tales

Geoffrey Harris is one of the UK's leading Toastmasters and in this witty and amusing talk he lifts the lid on the British banqueting scene, from balls to bar mitzvahs, weddings to wakes and just about everything in between. Just what did the Prince of Wales say that night in the Cafe Royale? What are the potential disasters laying in wait when you propose a toast? What was found beneath the dining tables once the tablecloths were removed? The answer to all these life-changing questions and many more will be supplied in this hilarious presentation.

Following the talk free refreshments are served and there is time to have a chat with other members of the u3a.
