Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service is recruiting Firefighters across the Service.

Prior to applications opening, it is holding several 'Have a Go' taster days.

These will be taking place over the coming weeks to give people an insight into what the role of a Firefighter entails, as well as the required strength, fitness and aptitude levels.

It will also give you the chance to find out more information on how rewarding a career in the fire and rescue service is, and what paths of progression there are.

The event is free, and there is no obligation to apply to be a Firefighter if you attend.

Equally, you do not have to attend a 'Have a Go' day to be eligible to apply; it simply gives you an understanding of the job-related tests you will need to successfully complete upon application, and allows you to ask any questions you may have.
