Key man Kee signs new Coalville Town deal

By Graham Hill 12th Jun 2021

Coalville Town striker Billy Kee has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

Loughborough-born Kee, 30, has become a fans' favourite at Owen Street and was arguably Coalville's highest profile signing in February last year before the season was ended due to the Covid pandemic.

The deal was announced on the Ravens' official website today (Saturday) and the club say: "During last year's short season he struck up and unbelievable partnership with Tim Berridge as the duo were instrumental in our positive start."

Kee began his career at Leicester City and played for Burton Albion before heading north to Scunthorpe and then signing for Accrington Stanley where he scored 68 goals in 174 appearances.

Kee joins Berridge, Kian Taylor, Tom McGlinchey, Kalern Thomas, Steve Towers, Connor Smith, Chris Robertson and Jake Eggleton on Coalville's retained list so far.
