The date and time of Coalville Town's FA Cup first round tie at League One side Charlton Athletic has been confirmed.

With the game not selected for live TV coverage, the game at The Valley has a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, November 5.

The Ravens' website says ticketing details and official travel will be announced in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Charlton manager Ben Garner has given his thoughts on drawing Coalville.

He told the South London Press that he is happy the tie is at home against the Southern League Premier Division Central side.

Garner said: "It's great to be at home.

"It's a great draw for Coalville, an opportunity to come to a big League One club and test themselves.

"It's the magic of the FA Cup.

"We give them full respect.

"We'll prepare exactly the same way we do every game, because we want to get to round two and then hopefully round three – hopefully we get what we see as a big tie for us.

"That's the aim."
