Coalville's Stealth Black Belt Academy hosts a night of exciting kickboxing with almost 50 local fighters on show

Coalville's Stealth Black Belt Academy hosted the Golden Glove Kickboxing tournament for the first time last Friday.
There were 22 sets of specially made Golden Boxing Gloves up for grabs for the winners of each bout.
A total of 49 fighters took part from four local clubs - Stealth's Coalville Academy, Stealth's Hathern Academy, Crown Kickboxing (Swadlincote) and MC Kickboxing (Measham).
These four clubs share the same values and often work closely together to promote the benefits of Martial Arts training across the East Midlands.
The evening was split up into four manageable chunks - the 6oz, 8oz & 10oz contests, named because of the weight of the gloves on offer and the four main event headline fights where the clubs' top fighters were all represented.
With a packed-out crowd in the arena, the atmosphere was electric as the fights got under way.
The two notable highlights of the evening were Rowan Tivey of Coalville and Jacob Twyford of Twycross, who both train at the Stealth Coalville Academy.
The teenagers put on a fantastic display of talent from two young fighters that are coming up through the ranks.
An evenly matched fight saw some impressive and sharp movements between both fighters.
Rowan took the victory with his fast-paced combos in a well-matched bout between the two young men.
The fight of the night was between Stealth Coalville's Jack Bromley from Hugglescote and MC Kickboxing's Oliver Newman from Measham.
Both fighters took the bout to a new level of excitement.
The seasoned competitors giving a display worthy of any top level fighter.
In an epic battle of speed and controlled power Jack Bromley brought home the gloves for team stealth in a close call decision and worthy battle.
