Broomleys Cricket Club in Coalville is seeking backers as it looks to become more successful on and off the field - saying it is proud of its history and ambitious for its future.

The club is based in Blackwood which it has called home for more than 75 years.

Broomleys boasts two men's teams, playing in the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket League, a successful women's section and a growing youth section for boys and girls.

The club says it is dedicated to offering cricket for everyone, whether your aim is to play for pleasure, or at the competitive cutting edge of the amateur game.

It has a long-term strategy to see the first team return to its rightful place in the top division of Leicestershire cricket - and is attracting and growing a strong squad capable of winning trophies year in and year out in both the men's and women's game.

But Broomley wants partners to help for this ambitious journey.

The club says: "If you or your business would like to get involved in sponsoring our teams and our players, then we would love to talk with you.

"You might want to sponsor the whole club, a specific team, support an individual player or even a particular game.

"As a club all we ask is that our partners want to support cricket and its growth throughout Coalville and the wider area.

"If you would like to chat about getting involved without any obligation, please do contact Leon Spence, Broomleys Cricket Club's Grants and Sponsorship Officer at [email protected] in the first instance.

"We are so proud that Broomleys is a club that is going places, why not join us on the journey?"
