North West Leicestershire District Council has made the top 10 strongest performing East Midlands local authorities for overall prosperity, according to the Legatum Institute's UK Prosperity Index.
The council ranks 10th in the region - with Rutland taking top spot and Harborough second.

A Coalville man is among four charged by police with conspiring to supply drugs.
Damien Wright, 46, of Broom Leys Road, Coalville, was due before Leicester Magistrates today (Friday).
Coalville-based civil engineering contractor Paul John Construction (Leicester) has been placed in administration.
Constructionenquirer.com reports that the £40m revenue firm was established in 1976 by John Henry and employed around 70 staff with another 200 working on construction sites at its peak.
Coalville fire crew was called out to a car fire on the M1 this afternoon (Thursday).
The incident happened on the southbound carriageway, between the Coalville junction - 22 - and 21A.
