Two men have been sentenced after pleading guilty to supplying drugs in the Measham area.

Lewis Beckford, 21, of Hawthorn Close, Measham, and Jordan Teale, 25, of Springfield Close, Ibstock, were sentenced at Leicester Crown Court yesterday (Thursday 27 May).

Addresses in Coalville and Hugglescote were raided by police last week as part of a crackdown on County Lines gangs.

It involved the execution of warrants, protecting the vulnerable and intercepting vehicles potentially involved in county lines activity.

A man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a car crash in Donington Le Heath in the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday).

The incident occurred just after 2am in Manor Road and photos of the vehicle show the car had turned over as a result of the collision.
