Wobbly Pins, a craft company based at Coalville CAN, has launched a series of new workshops to get the local community crafting.
The Wobbly Pins, made up of Jacqueline Moxon, Cynthia Brooke, and Angela Bonehill, have always crafted together.
Mainly for therapeutic purposes.
And they say their aim is to teach the community new crafts and get everyone socialising again following Covid.
Jacqueline said: 'We are trying to get the community to be creative.
"Just to get people out and realising that they don't have to be an artist to have a go at a new craft.'
One of the most important values within Wobbly Pins is to make sure that crafting it is accessible to everyone in the community.
With that in mind, they will be running a series of workshops of different sizes and costs covering a range of needle crafts.
That will include knitting, crocheting, felting, and sewing, all within the accessible CAN building in Memorial Square.
Jacqueline said: 'Everyone has a different learning style.
"But we want to give people access to that - and people can come in.
"Even if they just want a half an hour pop in to sit and talk to a friendly face and get some help and ideas with their craft."
She added that one of the things she most enjoys about introducing crafts into the community is showing people that there is no large outlay on costs.
And that crafts can be cost effective.
One of the future goals for Wobbly Pins is to start 'Craft Busting' sessions.
This is where people can swap their skills and volunteers can help other members of the community to learn a new craft.
Cynthia said: "We're hoping that people come together and form new relationships.
"It's about the socialising aspect as much as anything else.'
There are also plans for charity sewing nights later this year and an Autumn workshop to make hats for the homeless.
