Get ready for a full day of music, fun and community spirit as Coalville Entertains brings Marlborough Square to life on Saturday.
Running from 10am to 7pm, on Saturday, May 17, this free, family-friendly event will showcase local performers, street entertainment, storytelling, food, trails – and a unique karaoke competition.
The event, delivered by Coalville CAN in collaboration with a range of local partners and supported by North West Leicestershire District Council, is all about celebrating the creative energy and hidden talents within the town.
The town's market will be running as well until 4pm. There will be indoor and outdoor Stalls with something for everyone.
One of the day's highlights is the Karaoke Competition, featuring some of Coalville's best-loved businesses and community groups stepping up for a friendly sing-off.
Look out for food and drink, creative trails and family activities – all in the heart of Coalville.

Broom Leys Choral Society presents an evening of songs from the musicals on Friday, which will include a selection of Abba songs, a medley from Oklahoma, The Lion King Medley, some Choruses from CATS, as well as old favourites from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Sondheim.
The programme also includes a piano solo and a couple of pieces from a Jazz Trio.

The Victoria in Coalville has Wild Daisy and The Black Hearts Southern Rock band playing live.
They are a Midlands-based five-piece, female fronted band with twin lead guitar. Their sound is a powerful mix of New Rock, Blues and Country Covers.
They cover a range of artists from Black Stone Cherry, Luke Combs, Myles Kennedy to Ashley McBryde.
The support comes from USA's very own Blues playing biker Kevin McLoughlin

The Ibstock branch of the Royal British Legion holds its Craft Fair and Fundraiser at The Central this Saturday.
There is Free entry, tea and coffee available. Local crafts on offer include: Pyrography, Art, Personalised gifts, Candles and wax melts, decoupage, cards, macramé, 3d printed items, resin craft and jewellery, crochet, Usborne books, local author, Ibstock Historical society, jewellery, cakes.
