On Friday, Coalville CAN hosts Space to Create - an Art Workshop with Steve Bird.
Whether you enjoy being creative or aren't sure if it's your thing – come along and explore what your creativity could be.
Our creative in residence Steve Bird, whose current exhibition at the Gallery runs from June 4-16 June, is breaking down barriers between what we think "art" is and giving it a go.
Welcoming all ages and abilities, Steve is looking to help you release the inner creativity we all have.
Steve will be on hand to help with drawing and painting techniques, or if you are looking for some advice. Bring your own projects if you are looking for time and space to be creative in company. Steve will have some paints, pastels, coloured pencils, brown paper, news paper, small maps. Bring your own materials if you have some, but it is not necessary.
