This weekend's Coalville events cover a wide range of entertainment and activities - and hopefully, there is something for everyone.

The Century Theatre has two shows on this weekend.

Friday sees, Tina Live – The Tina Turner Experience at the Ashby Road venue.

This is a full concert-style stage show, charting the hits and career of the late, great Tina Turner from the early days onwards.

Starring Julie Nevada as Tina with her amazing band and dancers, this fully live energetic stage show charts the career of one of the world's most iconic performers.

Full of hits including Private Dancer, Nutbush City Limits, Proud Mary, River Deep Mountain High and Let's Stay Together to name but a few, this show is the ultimate night out and not to be missed.

On Saturday, The Bootleg Shadows are at the Century Theatre.

With their immaculate appearance, synchronised dance movements and clean, pure melodic sound, the Shadows chalked up 35 hits of their own (not counting another 33 hits with Cliff Richard), giving them more hits than any other British group and securing them a unique place in the annals of popular music.

The Bootleg Shadows perform a show that encompasses the Shadows' amazing career from 1960 up until the early 80s.Including All the hits and popular "Cliff" vocals including some surprises!

Concert audiences are invited to relive fantastic hits such as Apache, Foot Tapper, Man of Mystery, Atlantis, Wonderful Land, Kon Tiki, Don't Cry for Me Argentina, FBI plus many, many more.

Coalville Drama Group's production of The Birthday Club runs until Saturday.

Five women get together for their birthdays, each with her own story, to drink, celebrate, commiserate and support each other as they negotiate through marriage, work, divorce, birth and kids, while solving the problems of the world.

Cheryl, Kathy, Emily and Abbie started Birthday Club five years ago when their friend Jennifer was diagnosed with cancer, as a support group to help her get through it. When Jennifer recently passed away, they had an opening for a new member.

The Central Bar and Venue in Ibstock has two shows on this weekend.

Friday sees Our Trace. The "funniest, most craziest woman in Britain" arrives with singing sensation Donna Keen.

Our Trace was headhunted for the second year in a row to appear on Britain's Got Talent by ITV bosses.

She has racked up over seven million views on Social media making her one of the most sought-after acts on the circuit.

On Saturday, the Central Avenue venue has The 80s Experience.

They are a live band playing the ultimate 80s songs that will get you dancing, foot tapping and chair dancing the whole night away.

There a number of events going on at the Marlene Reid Centre in Coalville at the moment.

On Monday, the Belvoir Road venue is staging a weekly Monday Meditation.

Escape the stresses of the week with the Mindfulness Mondays meditation sessions.

These guided sessions offer a tranquil space to relax, recharge, and cultivate inner peace.

An experienced instructor Jane will lead you through a variety of meditation techniques, including breathing exercises, visualization, and body awareness.
