What's On in the Coalville and Ibstock area this weekend

This weekend's Coalville events cover a wide range of entertainment and activities - hopefully there is something for everyone.

The Palace Theatre at Ibstock, has a production of Alice at The Palace! 

They will be presenting the annual Panto at The Palace: 'Alice in Wonderland'. This is a madcap rampage through the crazy world of Wonderland, featuring songs, dances and appalling jokes....all the usual nonsense!

Saturday performances at 2.30pm and 7.00pm. Sunday performances at 3.30pm. Tickets: £6.00 for 16 years and under and £8.50 standard.

There is live music in the town this weekend with The Engineers Arms hosting The Deloreans.

Come along for the first gig of the year at the Coalville pub in Belvoir Road and then join evening of fantastic, lively entertainment.

The Central Bar in Ibstock has a Rod Stewart Tribute act on Saturday night.

Pete McCall will be singing the Scottish rocker's favourites and hits.

The Black Horse in Whitwick has live music on Friday night.

Rooters will be bringing their classic rock experience to the venue.

Coalville Town are at home on Saturday afternoon against Leiston in a Southern Premier League Central Division clash.

Get your tickets now and with both teams hungry for a win, this is sure to be an intense and thrilling match.

On Monday, there is a Wedding Sale, Pop up Event at Ulvercroft Grange, in Markfield.

This is a carefully curated selection of stunning wedding dresses and accessories, in superb or new condition, which have been donated to us.

Ranging from size 8 to 20 in new or as good as new condition. We also have suits, mother of the bride outfits, accessories and shoes. Late night shopping until 7pm on Thursday the 8th of February - by appointment only.
