The Century Theatre in Coalville has The Carpenters Experience on Friday night.

The Carpenters Experience is the UK's leading Carpenters show, featuring the amazing voice of Maggie Nestor and eight top-class musicians, capturing the sights and sounds of the amazing talents of Richard and Karen Carpenter.

Karen's silky contralto is combined with Richard's delightful piano and seamless harmonies in this big production that brings Close To You, We've Only Just Begun, Top of the World, Rainy Days and Mondays, Solitaire, Goodbye to Love, Please Mr Postman, For All We Know, Only Yesterday and dozens more classic songs to the stage.

You can find more details HERE.

In Ibstock, there is a Meat Loaf tribute act on Friday.

Paul Lee started performing as a tribute to Meatloaf in 2000 in pubs clubs and holiday camps.

In 2004, Paul relocated to the sun of Tenerife where the show went from strength to strength performing for 10 years to holidaymakers and residents. Winner of the best tribute act at the Tenerife entertainment awards in 2006 and 2010.

In 2014 Paul returned to the UK and had a sabbatical where the show was put on the back burner with only a limited amount of select shows being performed.

Now the show is back and ready to be performed at venues across the UK, with a mixture of songs from over the decades and EVERY song from the iconic 1977 Bat Out Of Hell Album.

More details are HERE.

On Saturday, the Ibstock venue has a Take That tribute act.

Take@That say they are one of the UK's leading tributes to the greatest British man band of our generation.

Each member has tirelessly worked on recreating mannerisms and harmonies along with choreographed dance routines, giving you a physical likeness to the real Take That.

They are a tribute band but not a carbon copy, bringing their own brand of fun, humour and audience participation to their shows.

This has earned them their own loyal fan base and return visits from many audience members.

The show covers many of the hit songs written and performed by Gary Barlow including Forever Love and Let Me Go and, of course, all the greatest hits of Take That are also included, from the 1990s classics, A Million Love Songs, Pray and Relight My Fire to the more recent Patience, Greatest Day, Rule The World, and These Days.

More details are HERE.

In the meantime, go to our What's On page for a list of events.
