This weekend's Coalville events cover a wide range of entertainment and activities - hopefully there is something for everyone.

On Saturday, the Friends of St Clare's Primary School bring you The National Festival Circus under their very own Big Top with three showings, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm

The National Festival Circus is a magical mix of laughter and excitement.

Slapstick clowns, balancing equilibrists, fast-tempo juggling, baffling magic, high flying diabolos, award winning international circus artists and bucketfuls of fabulous fun.

The Century Theatre has two events over the next few days with a Queen tribute playing at the Ashby Road venue on Friday night.

Queen II are performing hits from every decade of the band's musical legacy – Queen II say they are truly are the Champions Of Tributes.

The band faithfully recreates the energy, excitement, and emotion of a classic Queen concert.  

An authentic tribute, the four-piece band delivers powerful vocals, driving rock anthems and flamboyant showmanship.

On Monday, the Century Theatre hosts The D-Day Darlings Voices Choir.

The choir meets weekly on Monday evenings from 7–9pm in the studio space next to Century Theatre. Your first trial session is free.

Ellistown Working Men's Club hosts Ellistown Live on Saturday.

A day of music from 12 noon through to 11pm will be taking place at the Whitehill Road venue.

The Charles Booth Centre in Thringstone is holding a charity fashion show supporting Cancer Research UK on Sunday at 3 pm.

So come along with your friends and see if you can find a bargain or two.

Also on Sunday, Coalville CAN's Mega Walk returns.

The Mega Walk is a six mile route through Coalville and parts of Whitwick designed to show off what makes this area special- including green spaces, local heritage, and other gems like the Century Theatre.

Come along for a guided walk every third Sunday of the month.
