The Oaks Spring Fair is being held on Bank Holiday Monday.

It has been running for over 70 years and attracts visitors from near and far. Last year there were as many as 4,000 visitors and it is not difficult to see why.

It truly is an event for all ages with a variety of attractions which this year includes fairground rides, an inflatable maze and other activities for children and families.

There is the popular fun dog show, walking with alpacas, and the beautiful church of St James the Greater to explore. There are lots of craft stalls supporting local artisans and a host of food outlets to suit every taste. This is in addition to the classic car display, a range of agricultural machinery and some visiting steam engines.
