The 1620s House in Donington le Heath has a Mystery Objects Afternoon Tea this Sunday.

Cone along for an intriguing and entertaining appointment. Don your best investigative cap and see if you can identify our antique, rural and and domestic items of a bygone era whilst enjoying Afternoon Tea.

There will be 21 mystery antique, rural and domestic artefacts for you to puzzle over, with clues given along the way to help you identify their use.

What's more, there's an antique prize for the person who can identify the most objects. A selection of tasty sandwiches, cakes & scones will be served along with hot or cold soft drinks.

The Century Theatre in Coalville has a D-Day Darlings event on Monday.

Come along to an exciting free open evening and discover more about The D-Day Darlings Voices Choir – a vibrant community of people who share a love of singing with a passion for remembrance and honouring our armed forces, past and present.

Founded by Katie Ashby, creator and lead singer of Brit Certified group The D-Day Darlings (Britain's Got Talent Finalists), with outstanding musical direction of choirmaster, Gladstone Wilson, the Choir will also have the opportunity to record and perform alongside The D-Day Darlings.

They will meet each week at The Century Theatre, providing a warm welcome and a safe space to all members. Together, there will be a celebration of a fusion of exciting musical genres from Gospel, Rock, Pop, Classical and Contemporary with an important message of pride and remembrance at the heart of our musical creations.

The Victoria Bikers' Pub in Coalville has two events on this weekend.

On Friday, you can see Giltterbug Burlesque, while Saturday night features Murder of Crows with support from a number of local bands.

There is the annual Coalville Fire and Rescue Open Day on Saturday from 10am - 3pm.

You can meet ambulance, fire and police colleagues and take part in a number of different activities.
