It's all about the kids at Coalville's Century Theatre this weekend with The Twirlywoos coming to town.

Join Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy, Chick and their friends as they discover the wonderful world around us! Expect mischief, music and plenty of surprises as they set sail in their big red boat.

The funny, loveable Twirlywoos are brought to life on stage with beautifully inventive puppetry promising an hour of colourful fun and laughter.

From the producers of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show and Sarah and Duck Live on Stage, Twirlywoos Live is an enchanting introduction to theatre for all ages.

The Black Horse in Whitwick has live music tomorrow night (Friday), in the shape Georgia Lilly who is making her first visit to this venue.

The Central Bar and Grill in Ibstock has an Elvis tribute night with Rik Gaynor on Saturday night.

Rik says: "Hi folks for all those lucky enough to get tickets for this Saturday at Ibstock it's set to be a great night, we cannot wait.

"We absolutely love our Ibstock following, they always make us so welcome!"

There is more live music at the Victoria Biker's pub with the Jeff Porter band.

Jeff says: "A few live dates in the pipeline with the first coming up on Friday when we are off to Coalville, and for those who want a brief introduction to our music that we include in the live set, we have just uploaded a video of song extracts and video footage to YouTube."
