Two walk-in Covid vaccination clinics are open to patients this weekend

By Graham Hill 31st Mar 2022

Two walk-in Covid vaccine clinics will be open in Coalville this weekend (April 2-3).

You can get your jab at Coalville Community Hospital and Greenhill Community Church, at 7, Charnborough Road.

They are both available to Age 12+,1st, 2nd, 3rd or 1st & 2nd booster dose.

The hospital clinic is open from 10am-5pm each day, while Greenhill Church's hours are 10am-4pm (Saturday) and 12pm-4pm (Sunday).

Please check which doses (1st, 2nd, 3rd doses, 1st and 2nd boosters) each clinic is offering, and for which age groups before going to get your vaccination.

Please note, 3rd doses are not the same as Boosters.

You will need to provide written confirmation/qualification to receive a 3rd dose.

For children aged 12-15 it is strongly advised that parents are present, as they need to give consent for the vaccine.

Children aged 5-11 can only have the vaccine if they are classed as being clinically at risk from covid, or if they live in a household where there are immunosuppressed adults.

They will need to bring proof of their status, such as a letter from their GP or specialist consultant.
