The Old School House in Thringstone was among the care homes gifted tickets by David Wilson Homes for a show at the Curve Theatre in Leicester.
Also receiving a share of the 100 tickets were Peaker Park Care Village in Market Harborough, The Grange Nursing and Residential Home in Saddington, Aylesham Court Care Home and Abbey House Residential Care Home in Leicester.
The developer's donation was provided to help elderly residents across the county enjoy and experience the diverse and inspiring arts facilities the Leicester's cultural quarter has to offer.
Shirley Dagley, Activity Co-ordinator at The Grange Nursing and Residential Home, said: "We took six residents to see Billy Elliot the Musical and they were completely over the moon with the whole experience.
"Many had not been out since the beginning of the pandemic and really enjoyed the show as they could relate to that era.
"We would like to thank David Wilson Homes for a fantastic day out, that they are still talking about now."
All of the care homes were close to David Wilson developments.
Rachael Harrison, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said: "We wanted to show our support for the residents of care homes within our local communities by providing theatre tickets as an experience for all to enjoy.
"Our donation is a symbol of togetherness after a difficult few years of coping with the pandemic, whilst letting the more vulnerable members of our community know they are in our thoughts."
