Three people have been arrested after motorbikes were stolen during a burglary in Coalville.

But the culprits did not get far following the crime.

North West Leicestershire Police posted today (Wednesday): "Unfortunately, three motorbikes were stolen during a burglary overnight in Coalville.

"However, within hours of the offence, Neighbourhood Patrol Officers arrested three suspects and recovered two of the stolen motorbikes.

"The investigation continues whilst all three suspects remain in custody."

The incident comes just days after another motorbike thief was disturbed by an off-duty officer - and caught soon after.
