District Council announces full list of Coalville town centre events in Marlborough Square

North West Leicestershire District Council has announced its full list of planned events for the rest of 2025.
Saturday sees the £2.7million open space in Coalville town centre stage its first special event with an Artisan Spring Fair.
That features local crafts and makers bringing their goods to the square.
But after that, the council has a number of weekend events planned - from food markets to a Sci-Fi Collectables day.
This year's Christmas Market is scheduled for Saturday, December 6.
The full list reads:
Saturday, April 5: Artisan Spring Fair
Saturday, April 26: Dinosaurs Are Coming To Coalville
Saturday, May 3: Vintage and Antiques
Saturday, June 7: Street Food Market
Saturday, July 5: Artisan Summer Fair
Saturday, August 2: Sci-Fi and Collectables Market
Saturday, September 6: Autumn Festival Food Market
Saturday, October 4: October Family Festival Market
Saturday, November 1: Artisan Winter Fair
Saturday, December 6: Christmas Market
NWLDC leader Cllr Richard Blunt told Coalville Nub News last year: "Our job as a district council is to have long-term vision when working on regeneration.
"Our hope is that people will see this investment, witness how much life is in Coalville and start to invest – whether that's local people investing their time here and supporting local businesses, or private enterprises looking at a town on the up and choosing to invest their money here.
"I really hope local people get behind it and help us to make it a success."
