Six Mile Tailbacks Reported on M1 Near Coalville Turn Off After Spillage Closes Two Lanes of Motorway
There are severe delays on the M1 northbound between the Junction 22 turnoff for Coalville and the Shepshed junction 23.
Highways England report they are on the scene and dealing with a spillage and recovery of vehicles.
Lanes two and three are closed on the M1 and that is resulting in 40 minutes of delays above normal journey tmes.
There is more than six miles of congestion on the approach to the incident.
