Police are hunting for two men in connection with a Coalville burglary which saw two cars stolen.

A property in Waterworks Road was broken into last month.

Now North West Leicestershire Police have issued a photo of the men they want to speak to.

While they accept the image is not a clear one, officers believe their clothing may give a clue to their identity.

A social media post says: "Do you recognise the men pictured?

"Officers would like to speak to them in connection with a burglary in Waterwork Road, Coalville.

"At around 1.45am on Tuesday, September 5, a house was broken into and the keys to two cars were taken.

"The cars – A Volkswagen Golf and Move Up – were also stolen.

"The Golf was later found burnt out in Coalville while the Move Up was found burnt out in Barkby Thorpe."

Detective Constable Ollie Watson, the investigating officer, said: "I believe the two men pictured may have information that could help.

"While I appreciate their faces cannot be seen clearly, someone may recognise them from the clothes they are wearing.

"If you know who they are – or one of the men is you – please get in touch."
