Police have issued an appeal following a 'serious collision' on the A511 at Bardon yesterday (Tuesday).

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said that the collision occurred just after 11.35am and involved a HGV and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man, was taken to the hospital suffering from serious injuries.

The A511 in Bardon was closed but later re-opened following the incident.

But they were later lifted.
