Police and fire service called out to 'man on roof' of property in Hugglescote

Emergency services were called to a property in Hugglescote last night (Thursday) - after receiving reports of a man on the roof.

Police and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service both attended the incident just before midnight.

The man was reported to be on the roof of a building in Standard Hill.

But he eventually came down and he was spoken to by police officers.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told Coalville Nub News: "This was a report of a man on the roof of a building in Standard Hill, Hugglescote.

"Police were called at 11.44pm and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.

"The man came down of his own accord and was spoken to by officers."
