Plans to turn the site of a former Whitwick social club into a dance studio have been put before North West Leicestershire District Council.

The application, from Mrs Heather Bowley, was made last month for work to be carried out at 70-72 Address, North Street.

This was the old social club in Whitwick and the scheme has gone before Coalville planners.

The plans show the the proposed scheme would keep the eight car parking spaces already in place.

The site is currently unoccupied and there are no plans to change the current floorspace 151.49 square metres.
