Bedworth United say they WILL be allowing supporters in to their friendly match with Coalville Town tonight (Tuesday).

The Ravens head to Warwickshire to face Southern League Central opposition.

But Bedworth have issued a statement to say that fans will be able to watch after reports that the game is being played behind closed doors.

It will be the first time they have allowed supporters in since the lockdown.

The club told Nub News on Tuesday: "Contrary to what you may have seen elsewhere Bedworth United WILL be admitting supporters to our pre-season friendly against Coalville.

"In line with current regulations the attendance will be limited to 200 tickets."

When the FA lifted restrictions in mid August, Bedworth United pointed out: "As a club we are happy to hear of this announcement but behind the headlines there are a lot of restrictions and procedures that we as a club have to put into place.

"It might mean your matchday experience is very different than what you are used to but one thing is certain it will be good to see you all back at The Oval."

Coalville travel to Bromsgrove Sporting on September 19 for the first match of the new league season.

Their first home League game will be against Leiston on Saturday September 26, followed by another home fixture against Redditch United on Tuesday, September 29.
