A social media post says: "Do you use Coalville Park? Want to have a say on how it can be improved?
"We want to hear your thoughts on how we can make use of the unused field towards the back of the park.
"We've come up with five potential design ideas, including the option to leave it as it is. Tell us what you think."
The council adds on its website: "Coalville Park is an award winning Green Flag park in the heart of Coalville and is well used and loved by local people.
"North West Leicestershire District Council is currently holding a consultation to share ideas on how the field at the rear of Coalville park can potentially be utilised.
"The field, which adjoins to the main park, is currently a largely unused grassed area, but it is owned by the district council and could be improved for the community.
"We're asking the community that use the park for their views on five potential options for the field to see if there is a local appetite for improving the area."
