Stall prices have been reduced ahead of the opening of North West Leicestershire District Council's Newmarket next month.
The council announced this week that it was still looking for bread bakers and fruit and veg stallholders for the new site which is due to open on September 10-11.

That social media post prompted a reply saying that the prices were too expensive for local traders.
In replay, the District Council said: "Having received similar feedback from potential traders, our market team has taken this on board and have reduced the stall prices and provided introductory discounts.
"We have also reduced the amount of paperwork required.
"If you'd like to find out more about this, you can contact the team directly at [email protected]."
Another post said that the council had had long enough to make sure the market was full of traders.
But the Council replied: "We have faced a few bumps in the road due to contractors pulling out and Covid-19 restrictions so it has taken a bit longer than we originally anticipated.
"We have a good range of traders joining us at Newmarket - we're just looking for a couple more stall holders to give customers a full market experience."
