Coronavirus Spread: Council Gives Update On Waste Collections in Coalville Area

North West Leicestershire District Council says that all domestic waste and recycling collections are currently running as normal in Coalville.

It has issued the following guidelines to follow during the current Coronavirus outbreak.

The Council says: "Please put your bins out as usual by 6am (or the night before). 

"Remember, we might not collect at the usual time – please leave your bins out until 6pm to make sure we can collect them."

What Coalville Needs To Know

But the Council says it has currently suspended its collections of:

  • Bulky waste

  • Food waste (for the 2,000 households on the trial in Measham, Appleby Magna, Appleby Parva, Chilcote, Newton Burgoland, Snarestone and Swepstone)
