Coronavirus: Council Gives Details of Bin Collections In Coalville Area

By Graham Hill

26th Mar 2020 | Local News

North West Leicestershire District Council says all domestic waste and recycling collections are currently running as normal in the Coalville area.

Despite the current Coronavirus measures and restrictions, the council says there is no change and have told residents to put their bins out as usual by 6am - or the night before.

But it adds that collections may not be at the usual time.

If that is the case, the council says to please leave your bins out until 6pm to make sure they can be collected.

The Council also adds: "Please note, we are unable to take side or additional waste next to black bins.

"We are not able to offer this as we only have the staffing and operational capacity to empty black bins. We thank customers for their understanding."
